Their apartment has always been a second home to their friends, especially Holly's longtime pal Gary. Another constant presence is Holly's adorable boyfriend Henry. This season, Holly and Henry faced the first test of their relationship when she developed a crush on Vince, the handsome bike messenger who often shows up at their door. Holly's obvious attraction to this slightly older man posed a real threat to Henry, and ultimatley resulted in their breakup. This season Val found herself attracted to her former boss Peter. Starting her own public relations agency was an exhilarating step for Val - and her one employee Lauren - but she soon found herself in direct competition with Peter for new clients. The sparks fly between them on both a personal and professional level. Then their's also her childhood friend Rick, whose now engadged, but who keeps popping in anyway. Another new friend- Tina who Holly befriended because she was the daughter of one of Val's clients. Little did she know that Tina and Gary would start their own love-hate relationship that has them circling each other all season. The one constant in the show is the sisters' affection and concern for each other's happiness... not to mention their willingness to keep pulling each other out of one jam after another.
