Following the death of her brother (Ritter) in a car accident, a small town girl spends the summer in LA at a performing arts school, which exposes her to a whole another world besides the sheltered exsistence she's always known. (Wilson plays her mother, Corbett's the teacher, and James plays the love interest.)
